The Benefits of Dry Brushing

Do you want to help your lymphatic system work better and help your body gently detox, get circulation moving and reduce cellulite? If so, dry brushing is a great habit to get into, and adding oils to it adds to the benefits it has for your body!

Dry body brushing helps shed dead skin cells and encourages new cell renewal which also results in smoother and brighter skin. It also assists in improving your blood circulation and lymphatic drainage. It encourages the body’s discharge of metabolic waste so the body is able to run more effectively. detoxify.

It also helps increase the circulation to the skin which can reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Lastly, it helps with muscle tone and gives you a more even distribution of fat deposits, and also helps your skin to absorb nutrients by eliminating clogged pores.

it’s recommended to dry brush your entire body 3 to 5 minutes a day and you can add essential oils to help further the benefits.

I like adding a drop of MetaPWR to a carrier oil help to support firm skin, circulation and healthy weight. Alternatively adding a drop of Zendocrine helps with detox.  Or you can do both!

Take a body brush (look for one with firm, natural bristles) and use it to gently massage your body in an upward motion towards the heart.

And as the name implies, the brush and your skin should be—you guessed it—dry while you do it.
