This smoothie is packed with adaptogens, medicinal mushrooms and healthy fats and is quick and satisfying.

Ancient Nutrition Vanilla Bone Broth Protein is available in my Fullscript Dispensary* If you prefer a vegan option, there is a plant based version from Ancient Nutrition there as well. Rasa Cacao is adaptogenic magic with the added bonus of having hair follicle stimulating He Shou Wu and it is available here.  I am close to obsessed with Rasa. I drink their Calm brew in the evening and a scoop of their Bold in my Swiss water organic decaf coffee in the morning because it gives sustainable energy and supports my adrenals.  Adrenal support is Rasa’s M.O. and they do it quite well.  I recommend brewing it in either a french press for 15 minutes or in a stovetop espresso maker.

Equipment

  • High Powered blender

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup brewed rasa
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Bone Broth Protein or 1 pack EQ Chocolate Pea Protein*
  • 1 scoop OM Master Mushroom Blend
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1-2 tbsp coconut kefir yogurt

Instructions
 

  • Blend in a high powered blender until smooth and serve!

Gretna Greens Smoothie 💚🥬

There’s nothing quite like a clean green smoothie to start the day or break your fast in the afternoon.  I had something like this for my breakfast for a couple years (I like routine!) and had to stop and adapt when my body became unable to handle fresh greens like kale, spinach & celery… even lettuce came up as an allergy!  That was a bummer.  But I found shortly after that I could consume powdered greens just fine, especially Spirulina and Chlorella.  This is an antioxidant powerhouse and with bone broth protein, healthy fats, probiotics from coconut kefir and Spirulina and is a must for good skin and immune support.

For this I used a combination of spirulina & chlorella greens.  I use Ancient Nutrition Vanilla Bone Broth Protein, which is available in my Fullscript Practitioner Dispensary.* It is full of  and is quick to make!  I like to use dōTERRA Lemon Essential Oil drops from the culinary collection or a squeeze of half an organic lemon.

I used OM Master Mushroom Blend + Ancient Nutrition Chocolate Bone Broth Protein from my Fullscript Dispensary.* I like Ancient Nutrition’s Vanilla Bone Broth Protein if i’m going for a subtle flavor.
